About Us
The Black Owned Media Alliance (BOMA) was formed to deliver effective advertising and marketing solutions while advising businesses, ad agencies, and buyers on improving advertising investment with Black Owned media outlets. BOMA aims to help marketers connect with the dynamic and growing Black and Afro-Caribbean communities, unlocking opportunities to increase sales and foster brand loyalty.
History
The Black Owned Media Alliance (BOMA) was established in the summer of 2015 by Dexter A. Bridgeman in collaboration with Tony Lesesne, Woodie Lesesne, Jessica Garrett Modkins, Garth C. Reeves III, Debra Toomer, Sandy Walker and Peter Webley to bond forces of common interest for the promotion, development, sustainability, and financial growth of Black-owned media in South Florida.
Additionally, BOMA is committed to accuracy in reporting while providing the market we serve with fair and balanced coverage.

In seven short years, BOMA has emerged as a media collective with a fast-growing sphere of influence. BOMA is composed of member outlets from across the media spectrum including print, television, radio, digital, public relations, and production. BOMA can be considered a one-stop shop for companies seeking to increase their market share with our audience segments.

The objective of our organization is to improve advertising investment with Black Owned Media. There must be a fair and balanced approach for the dissemination of advertising dollars to Black Owned media in South Florida and to create awareness among the advertising community of the spending power of the Black dollar in South Florida.
